Solomon Uluave

This post is dedicated to my First Cousin Solomone T. Uluave.  He passed away from this mortal existence, some time this passed weak.  I will always love and cherish my memories of the “Soul Man.”  He had a gentle heart, and most always–could be found cruising between Laie and Hauula; and ultimately Salt Lake City and Provo.  Although he often frequented the kava circles, I think it was the camaraderie that he enjoyed the most.

When thinking about Solo I began to ponder the after life.  Where do we go?  What do we become?  The majority of what I feel has come to me–I will not share; But it sufficeth me to say that the Book of Mormon is true.  Within the Book of Mormon is the catalyst for the answer to these questions.  Especially within the LDS Cannonical liturgy.  Let’s take a look at the Book of Mormon–which has suffered much scrutiny from science.  It can be hard at times to believe in the Book of Mormon when there appears to be no factual evidence on “this” earth supporting the chronology in anthropology and the other sciences which stand steadfast against the BOM.

Well lets look at what we have learned as Latter-day Saints:

  • God has created an infinite number of worlds
  • Worlds are created by the power of the priesthood (perfect language)
  • The Book of Mormon is a perfect revelation (but continues to evolve)

Let me try to sum this up, as hopefully to relay my points across:

God is perfect, so divine tools would only have to be built once on the very “first” earth; although these tools will be made manifest as needed in subsequent earths.  So tools like the Book of Mormon and other accompaniment would simply be revealed as a deluge–during its due time.  Further, after it is revealed it will continually progress or evolve as God’s creations are organic (living).

To further explain my point–let me use an example.  Let’s make the earth equivalent to that of a house.  So in the beginning God provided a basic blueprint to his builders (Priesthood) and taught them how to build up Zion.  God would not have to change this basic blueprint and would provide it to each subsequent world.

In each world there is progression.  Each world evolves further than the one before.  The Priesthood and the Book of Mormon are living (organic) powers that evolve to the world they live in.  This can further be illustrated by looking at the Book of Mormon as the blueprint to creating the house of God, and the Priesthood as the builders or acting force for the blueprint.

Let’s say the first earth was built in 1978 BC (where the original blueprint or BOM markers were expressed) by the power of the priesthood.  Let’s say that in each subsequent year a new world is created until we reach 2013.  If God were to reveal the BOM from 1978 BC to those in 2013 AD there would be some similarities in the geography; but the blueprint would be different because we would be capable of doing a lot more
